A packed bed scrubber, also called a packed tower scrubber or packed column scrubber is a wet scrubber or gas scrubber designed to remove gaseous contaminants from airflows. This form of gas absorber can capture and neutralise any poisonous or dangerous gases from air streams and then expel clean air back out into the atmosphere. Our packed bed scrubbers reduce many pollutant components in exhaust air, including hydrocarbons, alcohols, ammonia, amines or hydrogen sulphide to the permissible limits. By combining an upstream packed bed scrubber with subsequent cold plasma treatment, VOC and odour concentration in the exhaust air can be effectively reduced.
