History
100 years of Riedel
1920 Company founding
Artur Riedel founded the company in Bielefeld, specializing in the production of galvanizing equipment and systems for chrome plating of typewriters, automotive and electronic components.
1955 Additional plant
A further plant was set up in Künsebeck, Germany, for the production of automated large systems.
1960 Specialization in dedusting
Our founder recognized the need to focus on sustainable technologies in dedusting in a future-oriented way. From this year on, Riedel produced industrial air filters and specialized in the separation of dusts.
1964 First dedusting system
Our first dedusting system was delivered.
1975 JET-Matic filter series
The JET-Matic filter series was developed and remains our core product to this day.
2000 Product transport
The development of our SACU marked a further specialization in the area of product transport.
2001 FPC pipe connection
Our FPC was developed and launched, a seamless connection that makes it possible to transport products carefully.
2002 Blend Selector
Our Blend Selector, fitted with Connection Control and Track & Trace, was launched on the market, facilitating the flexible supply of cigarette makers with real-time monitoring.
2003 Move to Leopoldshöhe
To expand the production and warehouse space, we moved our headquarters to Leopoldshöhe, Germany.
2005 SoftClean filter cleaning
SoftClean was developed and launched: intelligent filter cleaning to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs.
2010 SACU tobtronic®
For careful and efficient tobacco transport, a new generation of our SACU was launched: SACU tobtronic®.
2011 Silo conditioning
New technologies were developed and launched for the conditioning of sugar in silos, with a capacity of up to 80,000 tonnes.
2013 Energy saving concepts
We develop further energy-saving concepts with MAC and Eco Mode to regulate volume flow and negative pressure.
2014 Product recovery
New technologies for product recovery in the luxury food industry were developed and launched on the market.
2017 Cold plasma treatment COPLAS clean
With COPLAS clean, we formed a new market segment to reduce industrial odour emissions with cold plasma. This product is used in the food, luxury food, tire and pet food industries.
100 years of Riedel
On October 1, 2020, we celebrated our 100-year anniversary and took the opportunity to thank our customers, employees, suppliers and business partners for their successful and trusting cooperation.
